Want to Learn How to Groom your Wire-Haired Pointing Griffon at Home?
If you want to learn how to "Groom your Griff" yourself, the good news is you CAN!
As a breed specific dog groomer, I'm always sad when I read posts online about how a family took their Griffon to a dog groomer, only to have that person shave them or cut off their beard and brows. This shouldn't be happening...and a good groomer knows their dog breeds.
The Wire-Haired Pointing Griffon has a wire coat and is a Handstripped Breed.
"The art of hand stripping is simply removing the hair by pulling it from the follicle. By pulling the hair the body provides a rapid response of growth with a harsher healthier hair."
We can teach you how to do this yourself in the comfort of your home.

-** Oops we mis-spoke in this video when talking about tools! We love to use the soft pin brushes on our Griffs, the ones that we do not use on our Griffons are the slicker brushes as they do not seem to enjoy them. Also if used incorrectly a slicker brush can scratch their skin.
