Not only that he was a group placing dog at just 7 months of age!

Kanoe earned his SDIN Scent Detection Instinct Title with Hilary and also earned his Scent Detection Exterior Novice as well as his Field Dog Title!

Living With A Wirehaired Pointing Griffon

After a very hectic year of training, hunting, showing & trials, we have decided to take a bit of a breather and allow the dogs to enjoy some freedom and R&R in the great outdoors.  We plan on breeding Etta this fall, and will likely have a very busy winter and early spring with puppies if mother nature blesses us!
Once the pups have gone to their new homes we will get everyone back in shape and ready for action once again...though perhaps at a more leisurely schedule for 2023.

Kanoe had a blast with some ruffed grouse in the field. He's happy to be home. Etta is enjoying being in the field more too!

​Kanoe now has 2 legs towards his FD Field Dog Title! Excellent comments from the judges about his stellar pointing, desire to hunt and nice search of the bird field. It was a challenging downwind day, but he did a wonderful job.
